The AIC–GBU Incubation Centre supports University’s academics through its multi-dimensional approach of Innovation, Startups, Entrepreneurship, and Design thinking Programs. Incubation Centre is biggest and strategically located in the Delhi–NCR region, providing access to a vibrant industrial and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Centre has more than 30,000 square feet of dedicated incubation space housed within a designated building. The Incubation Centre is recognized and getting support from various Central Govt, State Govt; and Industries for funding, mentorship, equipment, training, etc from Start in India, StartinUP, and MSME.
The Incubation Centre currently hosts more than 80 registered startups promoted by students, alumni, and external entrepreneurs and more than 100 ideation stage Startups. The Centre has access to a strong mentor network comprising faculty members, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and investors, who are actively involved in mentoring incubated startups. This mix of founders has resulted in a healthy and sustainable Eco-system for Internship, jobs, entrepreneurship skill development in the University.
The Incubation Centre focuses on nurturing early-stage startups in the following sectors: Advanced Computing, Drone Technology, Internet of Things (IoT), Healthcare, Food Technology, Agriculture, Environment, etc.
The incubation strategy emphasizes business model validation, market access, and investor readiness, complementing technology-centric incubators in the ecosystem.
